The CA Foundation course is the starting point for your CA journey, available after passing Class 10 (provisional registration) and eligible for the exam after Class 12 of any stream

It focuses on building a base in accounting, law, mathematics, and economics.

 

  • Eligibility: Passed Class 10th (provisional), appear after Class 12th.
  • Subjects: Accounting, Business Law, Quantitative Aptitude, Business Economics
  • Exam Type: Mix of descriptive and objective papers
  • Negative Marking: Yes, for objective papers (0.25 per wrong answer)
  • Passing Criteria: 50% in each paper
  • Registration Validity: 4 years
  • Exam schedule: 3 times in a year – in January, May & September

CA Intermediate Course

After clearing the Foundation or via direct entry (for eligible graduates), the Intermediate level dives deeper into core subjects like taxation, corporate laws, auditing, and financial management. This stage also introduces the first hands-on training through IT and soft skills modules.

  • Subjects: 6 papers divided into two groups
  • Exam Pattern: 30% MCQs, 70% descriptive
  • Negative Marking: No negative marking
  • Passing Criteria: 40 marks per subject, 50% aggregate
  • Structure: Advanced Accounting, Taxation, Costing, Financial Management, Corporate Law, Auditing
  • Exam schedule: 3 times in a year – in January, May & September
  • Registration Fees: Rs. 18,000
